Sweet Potato Pie Ingredients:

one (1 pound) sweet potato
1/2 cup butter, softened
one cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
one teaspoon vanilla extract
one (9 inch) unbaked pie crust


Sweet Potato Pie Directions:

Boil sweet potato whole in skin for forty to fifty minutes, or till done. Run cold water over the sweet potato, and take away the skin.
Break apart sweet potato in an exceedingly bowl. Add butter, and blend well with mixer. Stir in sugar, milk, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat on medium speed till mixture is sleek. Pour filling into an unbaked pie crust.
